Module 8. Putting it all together What’s next? How to implement a Cancer Reset lifestyle.


Congratulations on completing the CR program. If you made it this far, it has likely been quite the journey of learning and discovery!

The purpose was to guide you in taking back your power and regaining control over your health and healing.

As we discussed in Module 1, cancer is often seen as something that ‘happens’ to us and treatment is focused on ‘doing’ things to us. CR allows you to discover the many CANs in cancer. Did you find some of those? And how they can support your healing? 

My intention was to present the plethora of tools, strategies and therapies that can be implemented to help you create a truly holistic, mind/body healing program. 


We began with the basics- increasing water consumption and implementing some simple, deep breathing exercises. Pls do NOT underestimate the power of these relatively easy to implement therapies. Water and air alone are foundational to health and healing. 

The next step in the journey is using food as medicine. The key components in the power of nutrition are- Eat real food, eat the color of the rainbow (meaning fruits and vegetables), and incorporating green drinks & superfood smoothies. Healthy snacks and clean sources of protein provide additional nutrients and an optimal nutritional healing plan. 

In Module 3, we dove deep into boosting the immune system and healing the gut. 

-Hippocrates  understood that “All disease begins in the gut.”  

And therefore it makes sense to address any digestive imbalances early in the healing journey. By restoring gut health, other organs and systems rebalance. The brain & neurotransmitters, the immune system, hormones are all impacted in a massively positive way through healing the gut. 

Some suggestions for healing the gut included bone broths, probiotics, treating intestinal pathogens and being mindful of lifestyle practices such as sleep, exercise and stress management. A nutrient dense diet, superfoods, supplements, and herbs are incredibly supportive in health and healing and options are endless. These can and should be tailored depending on needs and deficiencies.

In Module 4, the most content-heavy of all the modules, we explored more advanced techniques and strategies for detoxification. We learned about the many incredible benefits of fasting & juicing, and delved deep into complete organ detoxification. There is a specific order in which organ detox should be implemented, so it is always recommended to work with a skilled practitioner when undertaking such a strong cleansing process. 

In Module 5, we shifted to Lifestyle measures and how certain habits and practices can contribute (or hinder) healing. This module shifted from the purely physical approach of detox, to a more balanced mind-body perspective. We assessed sleep habits, exercise, our personal and environmental choices. As well, a variety of therapies were introduced which help detox of the mind and spirit. Cultivating a lifestyle that fosters well-ness can be profound for healing. 

This was a nice segway leading into Module 6 which focuses on accessing and using the Power of the Mind in healing. Restoring health can happen when the mind, emotions and physical toxins are released and the body has attained a more balanced state. We discussed the three states of consciousness and how the subconscious mind is responsible for our thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Our beliefs can be a driving force in creating illness or cultivating health. But first, we need to be aware of our beliefs. And if they are not favorable, how we can go about releasing limiting beliefs and choosing positive, more empowering ones. 

Yoga, meditation, affirmations, subliminal programming and gratitude can all facilitate a calmer mind, strengthen the will and desire and tap into our body’s innate wisdom of health and healing.

In Module 7, we moved into the realm of emotional detoxification and healing. Emotional and mental states play a significant part in our journey. Therefore, at some point in the journey, these must be addressed for complete healing. Many different therapies, methods and strategies were presented. If you aren’t one for “talking about your feelings” know that there are a variety of therapies available that does not require talking. With an open heart and an open mind, lies the possibility for a future without illness. 

So in this final module, we are putting it all together. I believe that the information and tools provided in the Cancer Reset Program would give you plenty to get started on your healing journey. Take it step by step; but continue to move forward. Be gentle with yourself. Cultivate a positive mindset, an optimal nutrition plan and healing practices that supports a healthy lifestyle and allows for detoxification of the mind-body and spirit. You have the power within you.
