Module 6 Presentation/slides

Module 6. Positive mental attitude. Detox Mind: stress management, meditation, breathwork.

Much of the cancer reset program thus far has focused on 3 of the major components. In this module, we are going to focus on A positive mental attitude.

We dive deeper into the realm of the mind- The power of the mind in healing, our beliefs & consciousness, re-programming and the tools and strategies that you can implement to access and strengthen this power.

A healthy mind and a healthy spirit are essential for a healthy body.

Many people overlook this aspect, and only address the physical body. Conventional cancer primarily operates in this realm. Restoring health can happen when the mind, emotions and physical toxins are released and the body has attained a more balanced state.

MIND

Is comprised of 3 separate aspects; the subconscious, conscious and superconscious

The mind shapes our beliefs, both positive and negative. Understanding how these three aspects are interrelated is required to change self-limiting beliefs.

Neuroscience research has revealed that at least 95 percent of our consciousness is actually subconscious. Although the conscious mind appears to drive us, it is responsible for less than 5 percent of our thoughts and actions. Therefore, nearly all human behavior is derived from the subconscious mind. This is also where our attitudes and perceptions are formed.

Our childhood conditioning, strongly influences us as adults. Many of our beliefs stem from our parents and experiences in childhood. In fact, most of our beliefs are formed by the time we reach the age of 7. So we don’t even choose these beliefs, but rather model them and they become so deeply ingrained that we do not even question them, even in adulthood.

The subconscious must be addressed for deep and lasting change.

At the beginning of this Cancer Reset journey, the very first concept we covered was beliefs.

Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of The Biology of Belief states:

“Health is not generally a reflection of genes, but rather how their environment influences them.” This is the premise for epigenetics- the study of biological mechanisms that switch genes on and off.  According to Lipton, genes are the direct cause of less than 1% of disease.

95-99% of cancers are lifestyle related with stress being the largest contributor. Other factors include poor diet, lack of exercise, negative thoughts &  trapped emotions.

Dr. Bruce Lipton: “Our beliefs control our bodies, our minds, and therefore our lives”

Furthermore, he says “If you want to reprogram the subconscious mind, you have to teach it in the way it learns.” The Psych-K process incorporates mindfulness, hypnosis & meditation and energy psychology.

To change a subconscious belief, first you must get clear about what you want.

For instance, you might say. I want my body to be healthy and vital.

One word of caution: Do not focus your attention and energy on what you do not want.

You would not say: I don’t want to have cancer. Your brain cannot distinguish between want/don’t want or can/cannot. It would hear ‘have cancer’.

Rather you might request that all the cells in your body function optimally and harmoniously.

Concentrate your thoughts on that which you do want. Health, joy, abundance, freedom and peace. Review your subconscious programming. Does it match your current goal?

Through meditation, visualization, hypnosis, subliminal programming and other techniques we can begin to align the conscious and the subconscious. Practice patience, and be consistent.

"Our thoughts are extremely powerful, both positively and negatively. "

As human beings, we have an average of 70,000 thoughts per day! 95% of those thoughts are recycled, and 80% are negative. The quality of our internal dialogue profoundly impacts the quality of our existence. Practice cultivating a positive, empowering mindset with the following strategies:

Take a moment to think about the thoughts that run through your mind. Are they positive and uplifting? “Today is going to be an amazing day!” Or negative and self-defeating? “I don’t have the energy to get through today.” Pay attention to and limit the negative self talk.

As we discussed earlier: address LIMITING BELIEFS. Replace beliefs that aren’t serving you anymore and rework them into self-supporting goals.

RESISTING CHANGE.

If you want different results, do something different.

Albert Einstein says: “No problem can be solved by the same level of consciousness that created it”

There’s no need to create chaos in the name of change.

Be positive about change, be clear about what you want and set about manifesting that.

With the process of letting go you make space for a more empowering experience.

Take time to reflect, meditate, or simply release all thoughts and emotions. Create stillness in a quiet space and get back to a neutral state of mind and body.

SURROUNDING YOURSELF WITH LIKE MINDED, UPLIFTING PEOPLE.

This will keep you grounded, inspired, and connected. They will help you believe in yourself and what’s possible.

GIVING & RECEIVING. Be generous and open. Listen intently. And also allow yourself to receive. Allow others to be generous towards you. Be appreciative and grateful for each and every of these experiences as they will literally elevate your energy and vibrational frequency.

GRATITUDE. This simple exercise has a profound, potent impact on your health and healing. Practice gratitude every day. It cultivates more positivity in our lives and provides our body with incredible healing power. Practicing gratitude stimulates the hypothalamus in the brain and can stimulate the release of positive endorphins. It can decrease pain levels, improve sleep, reduces stress, anxiety and depression and increase energy and vitality. I encourage my clients to practice gratitude at least once, preferably twice in the day. Once upon rising and again right before bed. Think of 5 things you are grateful for in that moment. Pay attention to how you feel after. Go deeper in this exercise by writing down these things for which you are grateful. It may be challenging or uncomfortable at first, but with practice and consistency you will be amazed by all the things you have to be grateful for.

We must also deepen awareness of our daily actions and habits. Be mindful of what you are watching, listening to, who you’re spending time with. These all contribute to our thoughts, beliefs and actions. Opt for positive viewing & listening and fostering relationships that uplift and inspire. Negative things, thoughts and people can drain our energy and adversely affect healing.

MEDITATION, in my opinion, should be at the forefront of every healing journey. It has subtle yet profound effects on the brain, body, spirit and ultimately in health and healing.

When meditation and deep breathing is combined with natural medicines, there is a synergistic effect making them even more powerful. The idea is to bring consciousness to the body and mind and using those forces to restore balance in the body and facilitate healing.

Begin to invite deeper breaths into the body.

*Inhale 1-2-3-4, hold for one second, then exhale 1-2-3-4.

Continue to do this for a few breaths until you feel the body begin to relax and your mind becoming quiet. Now we can focus on healing

As you inhale, imagine a bright white healing light entering into the mouth, down your throat and into the lungs. Visualize the light expanding and travelling throughout your body.

As you exhale, release. Release anger, release pain, release sadness. Release any emotion or thing that you feel may be holding you back.

Breathe in love. Breathe out anger. Breathe in peace. Breathe out pain. Breathe in forgiveness. Breathe out sadness. Do what feels right for you in that moment.

Now take a deep breath in and exhale through your mouth with a big breath (haaaa). Now release all thoughts and sit in quiet meditation for a few minutes. Allow thoughts and feelings to come and go. Do not try to control but rather find space and patience.

Practice this, or something similar that works for you. The idea is to connect the power of the mind, with the physical realm. When you tap into the power of the mind for healing, anything is possible.

I will finish with this quote from Henry Ford: Whether you think you can, or think you can’t. You’re right. Which one do you think will help you heal from cancer?

So I hope you have enjoyed this deep dive into accessing the Power of the Mind for health and healing. In the next module we will explore emotional release and healing. See you then. Namaste.
